Since you have been so helpful concerning the control valves, I'm asking if you would go to a web site and check out the specs. on a valve before I order it. I think it may work as a remote valve on the BX1500, and seems to have the requirements you stated in your earlier post. The site is www.surpluscenter.com. In the search box, type 9-6701 (item number). The part number is Prince RD512CA5A4B1. When the page with valve specs opens, there is a selection of related items (on right hand side)that can be used. One of these is a power beyond conversion plug. Will this work? I would appreciate your review.

Propilot, you are on the right track, but that valve is way too big for your tractor. That valve has a flow capacity of 25gpm, far more than your tractors auxliary flow capacity. Since the valve will be in series with your tractor hydraulics, you want a valve that has a rated flow slightly larger than your auxiliary capacity. But 25gpm is going to be a major chunk of iron. The Power Beyond plug is what you need.

I would guess your auxiliary flow is about 5gpm. Let me do some checking and I can recommend a valve for you. Two questions, I thought you wanted 2 circuits for your blade? I would recommend 2. Please verify your auxiliary flow. From there, I will reccomend a valve for you.

Regards. ....

propilot, assuming 5gpm auxiliary flow, take a look at Surpluscenter item no. 9-4501, with Power Beyond Plug 31900-341. This is a Eaton Cessna 2-spool open center valve with the added Power Beyond Plug. You can also add the float detent kit listed at the right side for you lift circuit so you will have float capabilities (recommended for a blade).

You just need to verify your aux. flow to assure the valve has the right capacity.

beagle: The tractor has a capacity of 5.5 GPM. I also only need a single spool valve because I plan to use only one remote cylinder, either to raise / lower a blade, etc., or use as a third link on the 3 point hitch. Thanks again. ....

Eaton Cessna has a single spool valve exactly like the one I recommended earlier, carried by SurplusCenter. I would recommend you check around and find a valve with about 7gpm capacity. Valves are restrictive to the fluid flow, so a little larger than your 5.5gpm capacity would be best. Going larger than that will be too big for your tractor. You can also try Baileynet for valves.
